My fiance is African-American and I was wondering if many people are so racist as to say that it is wrong. Have you had any bad experiences with interracial dating?

There's is nothing wrong with interracial dating. Some may argue it's hard on children, but if that's the case, the problem is with society's perspective, not your relationship. From a genetic standpoint, interracial children are probably less likely to inherit herditary disorders since the parents have a lower occurence of similar genes.
